o sailor!: a work in progress.

o sailor!; a work in progress.

i'm moving along on the kenneth mcneil cardigan.
by moving along, i mean i knit for two hours every tuesday on it.
i'm exactly halfway to the armpit.

last night, i was working on it; just a little bit while we watched "king of the hill".
something fell in the kitchen; a regular occurrence when you have a kitten.
i jumped up and ran in to make sure she was alright. she was fine.
however, the needle slipped out of the sweater when i tossed it aside.
i was up till 1:00; picking up stitches with a tapestry needle. i was seeing double by the time i went to bed.

oh well.
these things happen.

Oh, my heart!

Hooray for a dose of perspective...stitches can be picked up, and the lost time hurts little in the long run.

In the meantime, I will work on developing electromagnetic needles that will hold your stitches; the only detail I haven't worked out is how to knit with metal in a worsted weight...

Glad to hear that you were able to get all the stitches back on the needle! It looks like the sweater is currently coming along nicely as well.

Can't wait to see the finished product; I'm sure it will be fantastic!!

Oh my god, that's the worst. But it's worth it, the sweater is looking fantastic so far!
