We're going to be professional and call this a weekend of "market research", but I'm really just sitting on the couch thumbing through the best things ever and eating brownies (made from a boxed mix, ugh).
Sometimes, you just have to let loose, right?
BULLET magazine is pretty fantastic. The Daniel Radcliffe story still has me swooning. Everything that Tavi Gevinson touches is pure gold. The cover price is a little high, but it's totally worth it. Just skip dinner one night, or something. Figure it out.
I've never read GHOST WORLD, can you believe it? I've seen the movie like 600 times, but never even glanced at the graphic novel. Coincidentally, Thora Birch is mentioned in the new BULLET. Great minds, eh?
I'm so glad that I've finally received Miranda July's IT CHOOSES YOU. When it comes to her work, I'm a total fanboy. Basically, the premise of the book is that she used pennysaver ads as a vehicle to conduct very personal and moving interviews with the owners of the items in question. I could not put this book down last night!
What have you been up to this weekend?
