The BSJ is done... sort of.

BSJ (WIP)

Believe it or not, in the next few days this amorphous chunk of knitting will become a cuddly new baby jacket. I'll save all the details for the final FO post. I just wanted to let everyone know I'm alive and knitting.

P.S.- Has everyone seen the new Knitty.com? Here are 4 reasons why we'll be eating microwave burritos for dinner @ casa de KnitXcorE for the next few weeks.

why knitty.com is awesome.

(clockwise from top) 1. Urchin by Ysolda Teague, 2. Woodins by Anna Hrachovec, 3. PPR (my personal fave) by Nathan Plante, and 4. Diamond Waffle Socks by Danny Ouellette

I love, love, love the Woodins. Problem-the toys I've made so far have broken my spirit for knitting toys. But it is so cute... Lots of good sweaters this time around, yes very, very happy with this issue.

The BSJ looks awesome. I'm so glad to see you like Woodins. I was hoping you would so that we could KAL it. It's so freaking adorable!

Oh, and the PPR is amazing. I love that sweater. Too bad none of the guys I know would wear it. :(

Agh! I thought I checked Knitty yesterday, but alas the internet has let me down. I must go cuz not only is Ysolda on there but those creatures look fabulous!

thanks for reminding me!! i'll have to go check it out now...

you don't have to eat burritos!! you can come over and we'll have a knittyknitalong.

and just eat fruit and vegetable pills for dinner, it's faster and leaves more time for knitting. HA!

Yah! The BSJ looks fantastic so far!

I know what you mean about the new Knitty.com--I already bought yarn today for the Muir shawl. I was so in love with it.

YOU did a great job. I know the new Knitty is up and working fulltime. I will mention it on my blog next time I post.

I want to knit a BSJ so badly, but I don't know any babies, and my fiance would get sort of weirded out if I knit one up and just left it hanging about.

Plus, I think it's awesome how the colors match your sweet banner.
