easter parade.

wee bunny.

free pattern @ wee wonderfuls.

i spent most of the day yesterday watching chitty chitty bang bang and sewing the wonderful little creatures to give as gifts.

the pattern was pretty simple, i just drew on the fabric to make the face and embroidered over it.  instead of weighted stuffing, i tossed some navy beans in the bottom of each one.

i really do have a billion things to do today, and i haven't even had any coffee yet.

have a great easter :-)

Oh I looove Fred Astaire. If only my life could be so charmed.
Those bunnies remind me of ones I had when I was little, except they were made out of socks. Super cute.

That little guy is so cute! It reminds me of the simple little dolls that my mother would sew up for me and my sibs. She even found a pattern to make a Popple, which I think we still have at her house. The pouch wasn't big enough to do anything with, but I liked that she would put the effert to do it.

That was actually one of my favorite films growing up--I just rewatched it a few weeks ago. It doesn't make much sense, really, but Anne Miller sure can tap dance.
