This is the camera I use:
It's a Fuji Finepix A350.
Now that I've told you that, I guess I also have to tell you that I edit EVERY SINGLE SHOT in Photoshop. I'm not even that good at it. I mean I know a handful of "tricks" (that I do intend on sharing very shortly) but I mostly just use a bunch of free actions.
Here's a list of the actions I use, where you can find them and a before/after shot of each:
(remove both "greyscale" and "grain" from action)
4. Fascinate Me
And that's just about it! Buy a cheap camera, and download some free actions and your photos can look just like mine (almost)!!!!!

Brilliant! I love fancy photo tricks.
I'm kind of the opposite here; I have an alright camera, but I use Pixelmator, which is like a poor man's Photoshop, and Picnik, which is like an even poorer man's photoshop. I don't suppose these fancy tricks would work on my less-neato software.
Zomg I love your pictures! Do you use a special camera or something?! I mean I don't really read your blog I just look at you amazing pictures. Jk. Kinda.
Just came across your blog. Definitely a new favorite read of mine! I can relate to using a cheap point and shoot! i used one for years!
I've got the one step up from your Fuji finePix, but I might be able to top all y'all in the crap photo editing category. I use Picasa.
When I want to do any sort of graphic design, I use Word.
Old Skool, certainly.
i don't even have Photoshop!
*runs to a corner and cries
Wish I had one so I could make my photos as pretty as yours!
I AM IN LOVE WITH THE NEW LAYOUT!
I like the old toy camera one!

Awesome tip! I love photo editing software... That way I don't have to own tons of equipment, process my own film nor be any good at anything other than photo composition (which I'm still crap at...)!
