vinyl monday: the gaslight anthem.

Vinyl Monday

the gaslight anthem

It had rained most of the day in Jersey. It's kinda bleak. However, I did see a girl with a really swell umbrella.

My boss calls the Gaslight Anthem "rainy-day-in-north-Jersey" music. I tend to agree, but I don't mind his negative connotation. I can't think of anything more sweet than walking around little North Jersey towns in the rain.

But I digress, interpret their sound however you want; please enjoy it.

I'm going to go work on a tiny paint-by-number-clown.

What's your favorite rainy day activity?

Coming Up...

-A Work in Progress; The Bathroom.

...and much more

Gaslight Anthem is in my top 3 bands ever! I've seen them twice already and can't wait to go again. I love the energy, I love the nostalgia, I love the lead singer's voice. Sorry to go on so, but surprisingly I haven't run into many Gaslight fans.

Love your Vinyl Mondays! I've started looking forward to them as a pick-me-up for the "first day back to work after the weekend blues".

A "swell" umbrella??? You been watching the Waltons again?

i live on the west coast and it rains pretty much endlessly! i used to live in the central part of the province and it was so dry! i love the rain. i stare at my frizzy curly hair in the review mirror, drink tea, eat breakfast for every meal, and knit. probably as the baby gets older we'll read, do puzzles, and play drawing games. i've never really gotten into gaslight... maybe now's the time to try!
