Vinyl Monday

vintl monday: dire straits

hey kids!

the pears were incredible. a little sweet, but ohsogooood.
(the really sweet "tablecloth" is actually fabric for a project i'm working on. you'll see soon enough!)

today's vinyl monday is inspired by one of my favorite movies, empire records. this is the song playing when mark tickles the ballerina's feet with the feather duster :-)

it really is such a sweet song :-)

enjoy!

Goregous song, takes me back (a really long way). Empire Records was on the teev the other night! with a very young Renee Zellweger et al. Oh so very 'nineties' is that film. You don't realise the nineties had a style until you see movies like that - the grunge, the hair, the music (my era...).

Empire Records is the film of my adolescence! I remember watching it over and over and thinking to myself "Why isn't this my life!?" Ah!

Thanks for the flashback! :D
