Ocean Breathes Salty.

OBS sock on sidewalk

My "Ocean Breathes Salty" socks are finished!!!!! It seems like it took forever. I'm pretty excited about these lil' guys because I not only dyed the yarn, I actually wrote the pattern. I based it on some ankle socks Dave already had, so I knew that they would fit well. They original yarn was from Stickchicks Etsy shop. I ended up using less than 270 yds. I know I usually do a pattern particulars for FO's but, they aren't any for this project since I just sort of winged it. If enough of you guys are intrested, I'll try to write an official PDF pattern, so let me know what you think!!!!!

OBS sock in Grass

It's funny how they blend into the grass :-) I was going to start some Jaywalkers tonight but, it seems I don't have enough yarn. I'm going to give Knitty's RPM a spin.

Nice colors and kudos to you for doing your own pattern! I'm an instruction freak, so going off the beaten path of "how to" scares me to death. I admire your sense of adventure!

okay! Those look really great! I will knit vicariously through you!
I am about to start working my summer job-amen-on Monday. I tried to email you but just realized that hey I emailed someone completely different when I hit the email a friend icon!
Okay this is what happens-I do things and then it takes me a while to realize that I did it wrong! This happened to me a few days ago when I realized that a slipper pattern I was knitting MONTHS AGO was wrong! All of a sudden it popped into my head-WAITE THAT IS ALL WRONG!!! The really sad part of all this A. I balance our household checkbook and B. I for the most part correct my mistakes albeit a bit later! Anyway email me @
jmtgreen29@hotmail.com and tell me when we are having knitting group at your place! I heard through the grapevine-RICK- that this is what you are doing! Maybe we could have a knit and pot luck over the summer!
Yeah it's lunch time and I'm hungry!
You can call me too, 391-0952
Talk soon, hopefully!
Jennifer

I was going to say those sockies are cute, but that's what everyone else said, so I guess I'll say they're adorable. How's that?
