Funnel cake!!!! dave and i made some the other night from an old amish cookbook. if anyone would like the recipe, lemme know! even though we didn't have a funnel, they were lovely. we ate them so quickly i didn't have a chance to take a proper photo. apparently, someone on flickr was able to excersize enough restraint...

my film still hasn't come back, i'm getting far too excited to check the mail. i hope there are a few good shots.
it seems like everyday i have off it is extremely gloomy. today is the grey-est day. i don't know how i'm going to get anything done. i just want to drink coffee and read books.

I would love to try out the recipe. It looks so yummy in the picture. To be honest I've only had it once at a fair. Everyone looked at me funny when I said I never had it. It was so yummy. =)
When I was 15, I worked at the country fair in the funnel cakes booth with my best friend. I ate funnel cakes every day I worked there, they're so good. I haven't had one since, but you've definitely inspired me!
they used to call them "cowpies" at the wisconsin fair
when i was growing up! ha ha ha
SICK!
could tear one up in under a minute though!
