Vocabulary Lesson: "Clowder".

Vocabulary

clowder-(1801) n. a group of cats.

Dave likes to test my vocabulary knowledge from time to time. I believe he is just wondering if all of this "lit-major" stuff is a scam and that I am going to run away to the Rhode Island School of Design and major in basket weaving or some crazy thing. The other night, we were watching television and he asked me if I knew what I "clowder" was. Of course I replied, "a group of cats". He was in shock. He thought he finally had me, but I won again. Take that. Haha.

It seems as though things have sort of escaped me this week. I have absolutely no concept of time. I pulled this post together quickly and I apologize for the lack of editing. I do, however, have some exciting things planned for next week, so hopefully you will be able to forgive me.

That's a good one, all right. I'm rather partial to a "fluther" or "smack" of jellyfish, myself.
