I'm so excited to Craftyminx's "Craft Supply Challenge" this week!
I had actually planned to show you all how to make colored "seaglass" with Mod Podge and food coloring but after three efforts, a giant mess and half a bottle of Mod Podge, I gave up. It just didn't work.
This is my much more humble submission. I coated a jar in Mod Podge and wrapped yarn around it. Haha. So much simpler!
I hope I win something :-)
I have absolutely no idea what those flowers are. I bought them at the grocery and they stink horribly. I'm really no good with plants in general. I definitely have a black thumb. ugh.
However, if you would like to know more about bringing plants inside AND keeping them alive, check out Colby's post on natural greenery. He'd be proud to know that I did use a little preservative and cold water! (We'll see how it goes!)
What have you been working on this week?
