i'm going to try to read 25 non-school books this year.
i may give up.
i alway let these flickr challenges fall through.
my feelings on revolutionary road:
i could join the mobs of housewives and simply call this book 'depressing'.
i could be a lit. snob and compare this to some other, more obscure novel.
instead, i'm just going to fear feelings of complacency and shun conventional thought patterns for a while.
i don't want to turn into frank wheeler.
i cried when i was finished.
not because i was finished, but because i was nervous.
(i was going to include the trailer for the movie, but it seemed.... whatever.)

That book was so good. It put a giant lump in my throat. The movie was meh. Better off without the trailer. The Easter Parade is wonderful too.
do you have a list of the books? maybe if you know what they are, that'll give you a little more of a reason to finish them?
I hope you can stick with it; I love seeing what other people are reading! Ah, Rainy Days and Mondays...the sweetest of all downers.
Yeah, I never saw the movie because the trailer seemed blegh. Good luck on reading non-school books.
I have a book suggestion for you. It's kinda sad, but I think you would really enjoy it. It's called Love is a Mix Tape: Life and Loss, One Song at a Time by Rob Sheffield. I just finished it a few days ago and can't get it out of my head. :)
We had a rainy monday...*sigh*
me too karen...
(p.s i love that photo of you)
